Do you have any search tips? As I was saying on the other thread about it, it seems rather hit and miss as to whether it finds any particular name that you search for, especially people with middle names. And it seems that if you put their middle initial rather than full middle name it will come back with everybody who has the same first name and surname and any middle name at all, even if it doesn't begin with the initial you put in. So I seem to end up with no matches or too many whenever I search, and there seems to be no way of telling if they are going to be relevant without actually loading each one. So, any tips, please? Kate.

Well done Jim. Just had a look and very surprised to see all the change of names listed including children's and showing their home address. Also details of the recent deaths giving their date of death and with whom to make a claim on their estate. Good if anyone is looking for someone who has recently died. Regards Irene

Now that one I know Pauline, you have to click on where it says 'Archive' at the top, and then click on 'Search Archive'. Oops, sorry, no, I think it is just the 20th century, they haven't put the 1800's on yet. Kate.

Dear Jim Millions of thanks. My first search gave a result. I could not believe it. My searcher has been looking for information on her natural mother and using the site you gave showed a result for change of name. Thanks again, Joan

If you find your article and view it as PDF, there should be a tool bar directly above the image. The binoculars symbol is on this line just right of centre. Jim

Thanks Jim, I found one of mine on there. Now there is a problem. I have been unable to print it out. It only prints the heading, none of the information that I want. What am I doing wrong please? HELP,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Jean

Jean. With PDF I have sometimes found that printing problems can by be solved by 'saving' a copy ( to somewhere you remember!) and then opening the file and printing. Worth a try. Bob
