Hi Ted Sorry, I haven't any credits left, but I did look on FreeBMD. There are two marriages listed in Cheshire for a William Lee, but no Ediths on the same pages. There are none for Manchester in that period. You could extend your search on FreeBMD and you might find the right marriage that way. Good luck! Mandy :)

Hi Sandra There's only one John Jackman born in 1856 and that's in Buckingham, the wrong area. I found him on FreeBMD as well as 1837, so you could try extending the search on the free site. Good luck! Mandy :)

Hi Mandy, Don't think it's him it's too far away, thanks anyway. If you have any more credits could you look up another birth for me. John Jackman 1856 Manchester, possibly Eccles Father George Jackman. Thanks Mandy. Regards Sandra

Hi Sheila You just got in with the last few credits lol! Death of SAMUEL WEATHERHEAD registered second quarter of 1863, Newcastle T, vol 10b, page 18. You would need to order a copy of the death certificate to find out any further information; there was no age on the index. I hope this helps. Mandy :)

Hi Irene Sorry I haven't been able to find your FORD/DRISCOLL marriage. I've checked all around 1851 and 1852 and although there are some Fords and Driscolls, none of them match on the same page. I've also looked on Ancestry but can't find it there either. Mandy :)

Hi Pamela I've been half-successful! At that time, they weren't putting the partner's surname on the index. I have found Ruth but in cross-checking, I couldn't find an Austin Wood to match up with it. This is what I found: Marriage of RUTH HUMBLE registered fourth quarter 1911, Auckland, vol 10a, page 451. I hope that this is the right one. Mandy :)

Hi Sandra/Looby! Sorry, not too much luck with this one. There is only one John Coyne birth in 1875, and although I'm not very good at geography, I think it might be too far away. JOHN COYNE birth registered third quarter 1875, Salford, vol 8d, page 5. Misspellings are more likely to occur in censuses, due to enumerators' spellings, local accents, etc. So if other family members are registered as 'Coyne', I would think it's fairly safe to assume that John would also have been registered as 'Coyne'. I did also check under 'Coyn' and 'Coin' but no luck. Mandy :)

Hi Thanks for the offer. If you have any credits left I'd really appreciate a birth look-up. This rellie has been a big problem to find! John Coyne In 1891 & 1901 census it's Coyne. But in 1881 its spelt Kind. I know it's different but its definately the same family. Can't find him anywhere in Derbyshire myself, his parents came from Stafford and some siblings were born there and others in Derbyshire. John Coyne born 1875 Claycrass Nr Newmarket Derbyshire. Parents were Francis & Sarah Coyne. Thanks again in advance for any help you can offer. Regards Sandra

Hi Tricia The only one I can find that fits in has a different first name, Richard instead of Robert. These are the details: RICHARD GRIEVESON birth registered in second quarter of 1850, Sunderland, vol XXIV, page 320. The only way that you will obtain parents' details is by using the reference given above to order the certificate. Hope this helps! Mandy :)
