Peter If you paid by credit card, perhaps your credit card company would intervene. Alternatively I would contact one of the people listed here: www.familyrecords.gov.uk/frc/your_frc/putting_right.htm I can see that you don't want to waste time, but your previous efforts have been ignored and you still don't have your cert. By the way, when I have ordered multiple certs in the past and only received part of my order, there has usually been a compliment slip with the ones received with a message on about how the rest of the order will be sent. nell |

Thanks - but I'm in New Zealand so that option is a no go. I don't want to write as a letter will take ten days to get there and if they ignore that as well I'm stuck.... |

Does anyone know the 'personal'email address of someone in a senior position at the GRO? I have emailed ther contact addresses six times in the last 10 days without the courtesy of a reply. Their fax machine will not accept messages. They have my money and have not sent a certificate which I ordered in early February. Two others on the same order arrived almost a month ago. I am totally p****d off with their attitude and need someone to complain to. Rant over Peter |
