just put in a google search with pem genealogy and came up with one site that had emma in brackets after pem as first name. so poss could be emma shirley |

Looking at UK BMDs on Ancestry brought up these Those that sound like girls were Pemily, Pemila, Pemella, Pemla, Pemler, Pemlar, Pemaly, Pemelia and Pemmy. Pemila (and variations) was the most popular. Boys seemed to be Pemberton and Pembroke. |
