Im still waiting!! I sent them a mail and yes, as someone said, dont reply to their automated response but enter GQ in the heading and then you get a personal one. I just got one from them saying they are inundanted with 35000 requests a week now and wait another week and get back to us if it hasnt arrived by then. I do so hope it does cos for the first rotten time I didnt keep the reference info for a cert and it would be this one! |

GRO left a message on my ansafone 'please contact us re Ref ****'. I did, this morning, got a recorded message telling me I'm 4th in queue and the wait was 5 minutes. 25 minutes later, ON MY MOBILE, finally someone answered only to tell me she didn't know why anyone had left me a message, there was not a problem and my cert is on the way. SCREeeeeem. The bright side is - I had free minutes, luckily. Jan |

Hi Peter, When I emailed them I got an automated response asking me to check certain things and if I still had a problem to email again with certain letters in the subject line (poss GQ but I can't be sure). They replied promptly and my cert arrived as promised. I would email again and if you get no response one of us in the UK can chase it up by phone for you if you want - just let me know. Peter I've never tried contacting them so can't answer your question but I'm still waiting for two certs with a despatch date of 17th March and I'm only an hour down the road. I think they might have started sending them by carrier pigeon! Lou |

How do I get the GRO to answer me? On 13 Feb I ordered 3 certs, one arived on 3 March, a second on 10 March. No sign of the third. I have emailed them twice asking them to a) confirm date of despatch and/or b) to send a replacement and confirm despatch. (They have kept my money!!) The don't respond and I can't ring them cos I'm in New Zealand Are they usually this bad? Peter |
