is there a site for online records for divorces some time probably in the 1940s or is that classified information |

It's unlikly as the records would be part of the court records. But if anyone knows of one I hope it goes back to 1880's as I have a possable bigamist that I'd like to clear. |

Hi, Some early divorces can be found in the pro online catalogue. That's all online. For any other a personal visit is necessary There is a closure on divorce papers of 75 years, I think. Gwynne |

Hi there are Divorces on the National Archavist web site, Cannot recall off hand the dates but the 1880's are included as i found one for a lady not so long ago in 1888. She had thourght her ancestor had died. Colette xx |
