Hello, I am trying to help a friend get started in her family tree and she knows from a small brith certificate she has that her mum was born on 3/1/1923 and registered on 22/1/1923. She was named Doris Constance May Brookes, mothers maiden name was Blackmore. She was born in Constance Rd East Dulwich, London - Guess this was the reason for her middle name! Any help would be appreciated on finding this on 1837 as we want to get a full copy. Thanks Jayne |

If you've got the small cert you can contact the local register office where the birth was registered with details from that one. |

I think the small certificate will give enough information to order a full one. Just fill out the form on the gro.gov.uk site. in this case you don't need the GRO reference. Anne |
