Hi, I have just received my 3 X great Grandfathers marriage certificate and in the age column it says 'of age'! Does anyone know what this means? Cate:)

"Don't be nosy!" It could be anything from a lying 18 yr old to a 98 yr old, but it should mean over 21.

Thanks! Thought it was probably something like that! It is annoying though as I was hoping the certificate would give his correct age am, to confirm he is the right one?? Cate:s
