Hi All Does anyone know anymore about the above job/industry?? One of my rellies moved from Wales to Liverpool and this was his occupation in 1901. Was it a common industry in Liverpool at the time?? Any resources out there for more info?? Any help or direction would be wonderful!!! Sarah |

I think there was quite a big sugar industry in the area. My son works for Tate and Lyle in London, so I will ask him. |
