Does anyone know of a internet address of old street maps of London, East End areas of Bethnel Green. Trying to find the rather weird street of Half Penny Street. Thanks Katrina Australia

This is the lost London streets: http://members.aol.*com/WHall95037/london.html This one has early London streetmaps online: http://www.motco.*com/map/ and I suspect this is what Karen was trying to tell you: http://www.gendocs.demon.*co.uk/lon-str.html I didn't have this one before, but will bookmark it forthwith - thanks, Karen! An excellent site for old London maps is http://www.motco(.)com/ There is a searchable 1862 map there. I have had a quick look, but Half Penny Street is not indexed, so it is a matter of scanning each image until you find it Regards Sean
