Helen in Berkshire Report 9 Nov 2004 15:06

Hi all I listened to this yesterday and it was interesting, covering the cutlery industry in Sheffield, potteries in the Midlands, framework knitters/lace makers in East Midlands, and Birmingham industries. They trotted out the classic 'sagger-maker's bottom knocker' but there were some other interesting job descriptions as well! This afternoon's will be the cotton industry in Lancs. Helen
