I am trying to find info on James Warnes DOB 1855 Fritton in Norfolk He as far as I have been told served in India Norfolk Regiment. He was also the treasurer for the Salvation army I think around Talywain area of Monmouth in Wales where he worked as a saddler. Any one got ideas as to how or where I should look to confirm this. I'm pretty sure the SA will be able to help you, particularly as he was/is a member. Their tracing service is listed on their website at www(.)salvationarmy(.)org(.)uk removing brackets first. Good luck! Mandy :) |

The National Archivist has served in India lists, doesnt it. In Norwich there is an army museum. Google for info. |
