Hi there, According to various censuses, one of my ancestors was born in Wyndham, Norfolk, but I can't seem to find this town/village on multimap! Please could somebody let me know where this place was/is? many thanks, Karen Pope |

Hi Karen (you didnt go to Bromley Grammar did you?) I live in Wymondham. If you look on the map at Norwich go down the A11 about 8 miles south and there is Wymondham. If you go to Norfolk Family History Society Site you can see old parish layouts too. There is also a brilliant free site at Norfolk Transcription Archives. Let me know if you need any more local knowledge. |
