Some of my ancestors went to Canada in the early 1900s possibly 1912. How can I find out which ships went to Canada in that year. I have tried googling, but all I get is the Titanic, surely there were others that didnt sink

Most British immiigrants to Canada went via Halifax Nova Scotia-All arrivals between 1928 and 1971 went through Pier 21 at Halifax-they have a very good library and resource centre-they have photos of 90% of the ships which arrived during that period-in the first instance try HTTP://www.pier21.ca/ a personal E Mail to the librarian could lead to further information-if possible i also reccomend a personal visit.
