Does anyone know of any "port of entry" links apart from the obvious Ellis Island site? There must have been other ports they landed. I know my Florence Newton went to America (Washington state) around 1900-1905 but can't find her. She married about 1906 I presume in Spokane, Washington as all her children were born there She was born in Northumberland in 1877 many thanks, Sylvia |

Sylvia, A lot of states have thier own genealogy web-sites...look on Cyndi's List for Washington. Sometimes there are extracts for naturalization records or immigration. Good luck. |
