I work for the National Archives of Scotland in Edinburgh and have recently finished helping to build a database of WW1 Scottish soldiers wills. we are still in the tidy up stage so I don't know when it will be ready to go public. A colleague is currently working on WW2 wills. As soon as I know when they are ready to go public, I will post it on the site. Linda

It was through the Commonwealth War Graves Commission's website, and the Daily Express that had an article about it, that I became interested in actively researching my family history, in 1999. My great-uncle is commemorated in the site, May 1918. Joy

In someways it's sad, but it is sometimes easier to find someone who is dead, than someone who is alive. One site which i found my Granfather is the "Commonwealth War Graves Comission". The site is www.cwgc.org
