Hi, Sorry I have been off the site for a while due to pressure of work. Upon my return I find that someone has linked to one of my relations but when I follow this link - there isn't one. I think they just pressed the add link button by mistake. Is there a way to delete this link at all? Janet

I think if you delete the contact from "Your Contacts" then the link should disappear! It worked for me when someone unconnected linked to my tree a while ago. Barbara

I may be showing my naivity here, but I nearly always put a "link" if there's even a possibility whoever I'm enquiring about may be the same person. William Russell Jones Cefn Mawr Wrexham.

Hi William, Quite understand your point there and of course it is nice to have links however remote. In the case that I was enquiring about however, the other party didn't even have anyone of the same forename, place of birth of even near dates. Even the surname was spelt slightly differently. Janet
