I have an address for Birmingham Oxon. Where does the Oxon come from. I have only known Birmingham Warwickshire. Thanks Shirley |

If you type this into Google search engine comes up with some hotels in oxon part of Birmingham so I would presume is an area within Birmingham? Also good one to try is website www.multimap(.)co(.)uk zoë |

I always thought Oxon was an abrieviation for Oxfordshire My geography is hopeless best wishes Dave |

Hello Paul and Bob It was 1901 census and she was born Birmingham Oxon. I just wondered where it was so I could look it up on the map. I Have never heard of an Oxon in Birmingham. Shirley |
