Just saw this and thought I'd mention it.....www(.)oldbaileyonline(.)org.....it gives proceedings from 1674-1834 so could be of help or at least a good read! |

Hi Aileen, Great site. Put one of my surnames in and came up with a 1755 theft and burglary crime and he was sentenced to Death! Don't actually know if he was a relative yet. Bit different these days is'nt it, they would probably get away with a few months in a cushy cell! Maggie |

just looked at the site and came up with quite a few with my maiden name.but they were mainly victims...phew!!! susie |
