I didn't see his name here, but my great-uncle's name isn't listed either. |

While it is still possible it is "your" Herbert, perhaps it isn't. |

If he does turn out to be the Herbert Cleaver registered in Blean and living in Marshside in 1901 - let me know if you want a picture of the Gate Inn at Marshside - we pop out there on a fairly regular basis. |

Course, you know what I'm going to say, Angela! You've got to buy that certificate to get the exact birthdate to see if it matches the one who died in Florida. And you're going to say, but it's not my direct ancestor, I can't afford any more certificates! Just your luck that he must have come to Canada after the 1911 census. That gives month of birth. |

Do you have the exact birth date of your Herbert? The SSDI gives birthdate as 21 June 1893. |

I have found a death record for someone who could have been my great grandfather's brother, who was Herbert Cleaver and he emigrated to Canada in 1911. The death record was for a Herbert R Cleaver died 1980 and states place of death as Orange, Florida, and gives date of birth as 1893 which was the same year as Herbert in my tree. What would be the best way to find out of this was the same Herbert Cleaver? |
