Uploading GEDCOM files

Yes - but I use the files for my other website where I don't want the information private... so then I have to change them back again.

It will always overwrite your exisiting Genes Tree. Can you 'privatise' your Gedcom before uploading it? I know you can on FTM but don't know about Legacy.

I keep all my tree in Legacy and then use the data to update my website and Genes reunited and Findmypast etc.
I have recently added a new brnach with several 100 people.
It appears that if I upload a new gedcom file it overwrites my existing tree in Genes. Is there any way to append.
If I overwrite the tree, then I lose where I have manually changed names to "living" for some who I either don't have permission to disclose or who do not want to appear in the tree.
Does anyone know some way around this?
