not usually but my daughter has to have a gluten free diet so I sometimes have to check things if she is going to be here for meals. She seems to manage pretty well although occasionally she will eat something and it really upsets her tummy.
Do you take any vitamin or mineral supplements?

*$parkling $andie* Report 1 Apr 2011 21:52

No ,I try to keep to healthy diet since my cholesterol level was up, haven't had it checked recently tho. Chicken, fish and lots of veg, family have the same..dau doesn't like lamb or beef, so the men generally only get that when she's away lol

What is your favourite pastime / hobby..?

Easter Bunny

Easter Bunny Report 4 Apr 2011 13:43

spending time on the computer I guess.Whether its family tree research, games, chatting or looking things up or listening to music, there is so much to do the time flies by.Next to that it's probably my dogs.
Have you met up with anyone you first connected with on the internet some how?

DizzieLizzie Report 5 Apr 2011 08:25

I have met father and daughter cousins of my father's having contacted them on here. My Dad was adopted and so was the father of the two people we met. They are the only members of Dad's birth family we've managed to have contact with and vice versa. Although we have both found a lot of confirmed information about their birth family, we've both found it impossible so far to gain contact with our direct lines.

Also just as my daughter was planning a trip round NZ in a camper van with her boyfriend, I had contact with my maternal Grandad's great neice. Her Dad had been named for my Grandad and I had met her Grandmother a number of times with my Grandad when I was a child, they were very close. When she sent a recent picture of her Dad he looked just like my Grandad. We developed quite a relationship over the net and whilst they were in NZ my daughter and her boyfriend got to pay a visit and ended up staying for a couple of days. They all had a lovely time and another sister is trying to plan a trip back over here, so of course we have extended the same invitation to her.

In your research have you dispelled/disproved any family myths/stories?
