Some people are so cruel.

I have 3 cats (& 2 dogs), On Monday morning we noticed our littlest cat limping badly so I took her to the vet as I thought she had broken her leg. They couldn't feel a break so kept her in overnight (after giving her a pain killer and anti inflamatory jab). Next day was bearing a little weight but they decided to xray as she didn't like her pelvis/base of tail touched.

The xray revealed she hadn't got a break, but was extremely bruised. We don't know if it was a clip from a car, a fall, or if someone had booted her! The vet feels the latter due to the size of the bruising.

Why?

She is a sweet little thing and always comes up to you if you call her. I don't know why anyone would want to hurt her.

I'm collecting her from vets later today as she has had to be confined to allow the bruising to get a little better. Won't know until I pick her up from vet if she will have to be confined in my dogs cage for a while longer. Shame, she loves playing about in the garden!

I'll be glad to get her back, and the other two cats are missing her too!

Sea bass fillets with tomato and olive oil

2 large ripe tomatoes
6 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp dried chilli flakes, or a chopped fresh chilli
.5 glass white wine
Salt and pepper
4 fillets of sea bass
Place the tomatoes in a bowl of boiling water and leave for about 10 seconds. Drain, then slip off the skins, cut the tomatoes in half and scoop out the seeds. Dice the flesh neatly into pea-sized pieces.

Heat the oil in a wide, shallow pan, and add the garlic, parsley and chilli. Cook for two minutes, then add the tomato and cook for another two minutes. Add the wine, raise the heat and bubble for two minutes. Season with salt and pepper, lower the heat, and lay the sea bass fillets, skin side up, in the pan. Cover and cook for five minutes.

Serve the fillets, skin side down, with the sauce poured over them.

If the cat is black, I'm doing the euro millions and winning it on friday. When I buy my chatoe....."my french is terrible" you are invited for dinner, bring the cats, they can have the left overs.

Rather than look on the miserable side of the situation,
Imagine yourself as the cat, and how you have just met a special human.
Is the cat black?

how can you be to ignorant to care for a cat? I have 2 cats, or rather they have me, all they need is a bit of t.l.c., and if the owners havent got that they shouldnt be allowed to keep animals!!
You have me ranting now Rose!!!

Perhaps a call to RSPCA and then they can check the other cats.

We had a person (don't call her a lady) who lived three doors away and had about 7 cats well she moved took all but one just left him here, bless him he comes in here and finishes my threes food and then goes up a few doors away and is fed, but doesn't go inside, stays out all the time I don't have him in as he sprayed in here once.

The trouble is Rose, that if these people lose their animals, they will only go out and get another.......I know people like this too.......to them animals are expendable....

......in my perfect world these people would spontaneously combust...!

I agree with Lindy. Why!
We were feeding a stray cat a year or two back now, Then one Friday night at about 7ish we noticed it was in the porch not looking to good so we rang the RSPCA up so the could sort it out with the vets. The answer was I can't I'm the only one on call I'm in Harrigate you to far away in East Yorkshire. Take it your self tomorrow, well the poor thing we never saw it again.
