Blast from the past, but a good idea to resurrect this one, might help somebody. We only have one church with a cemetery in the village but if anyone is ever interested in St Bartholomews Churchdown Glos, I could always take photos.

I would. My nearest churchyard is Christchurch, Brampton road, West Melton Wath on Dearne, Rotherham, South yorks.The church was built in1855 Before that people were buried at Wath Parish Church Wath On Dearne, Rotherham. Elaine.

Somebody really smart could start a website with information on these.

Mostly country areas in New South Wales, our largest cemetery in Sydney is Rookwood and will be on line soon. Others are online and paid sites or there are various sites that will do a look up for a fee, a couple also provide a disc with this information.

Any clever people out there to compile this information?
