Pam,
I'm so sorry to hear the news that your son has passed away despite a long and brave fight against the dreadful disease. I remember reading the thread last year and could see that you were all a very positive family. I'm sure that Danny was greatful for the support that you gave him during his illness. Please take heart in the fact that you will see his essence of life live on in his children.

Hugs and prayers to you and all of Danny's family.

God Bless
Helen

I hope you don't mind but felt i needed to tell those that have written on this thread.
It is with great sadness that i have to say my son Danny lost his fight with cancer on Saturday 31st July.
He was still brave to the end even when the doctors told him they could do no more he thought of others.
He died peacefully in Brent ward at Derriford Hospital.
My family who live in London traveled down thinking he would be gone by the time we got there but no,in true Danny style he hung on and we spent 4 days of quality time with him.
We laughed with him and cried with him .I was there with him as were his wife his brother and sister as he took his last breath, with no pain he gently slipped away.
My heart is breaking put i am comforted to know that he is'nt in anymore pain.
His funeral is in Tavistock Devon on Monday at 11 o'clock so if anyone would'nt mind and you think of it ,think of him at that time on Monday if you will it would mean so much as you have always been supportive and had many kind words.
Danny was 41 and leaves a wife and 3 children a son aged 14 and twin girls aged 11.He was the bravest man i had ever met .
Love to you all Pam x x
