wmsl Jac... I did wonder!! When I get back to my research I might just have a look at that... she was a domestic in a big house in London for a while............... Now wouldn't that be sommat for my granddaughters???

David, I am sure you have loads of useless info... but you deliver it with such aplomb you can keep a thread afloat for pages with it, lol... when I do, I just get strange looks and/or groans!!

All that French talk sends shivers, doesn't it? Doesn't matter what is being said... sounds great. Like Italian as well. mmmmmm

Hello Uggers! today in 1902 the Curies successfully isolated the radioactive substance radium in Paris! Coincidence is that, as today I have had lunch with a Parisienne! ))))

Hello Joy:)

I know all sorts of useless stuff, Daff:)

MrDaff Report 20 Apr 2009 11:14

I am just sooooo pleased that someone else knew that useless piece of information, David, lol.... Primrose was almost my mother's name cos she was born on Primrose day, and my gt grandmother had a reason to thing (edit, think, even) Disraeli was special... but my mother can't remember why, lol!!

Grey hair would be good, always distinguished on a fella, don't you think?

80's? I discovered alcohol in the eighties, lolol ;¬)) I do remember vaguely a dodgy perm...... and then having a Servelan crop... anyone else remember Servelan?

There are some lovely primroses in the garden. The daffodils are finishing now sadly. But there are lovely bluebells and whitebells :-)

Tomorrow is my sister-in-law's and my niece's birthday :-)

Uggers

Uggers Report 19 Apr 2009 22:22

I attract people who post crap, Sue ;)))) I remember the last few years of the 80s quite well cos I was at school and it was before I took to the bottle

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 19 Apr 2009 22:21

Uggers how is it that you can get a thread full of twaddle to 4 pages?

I don't really remember the 80's 'cos it was full of babies and a mortgage.
