I've been reading more than posting lately I must be honest Mo. However, I do post when I feel like it. Just haven't had the energy. May feel different in Spring...I must be hibernating ;)

I don't post here anymore because of all the rows and unpleasentness blah blah blah........AND I haven't got a clue what's going on could someone please send me a PM and fill me in :0)

I have a bit of a theory...lol

when I first joined 3 years ago, I didn't realise the chat and general board existed, I joined purely because of advertising of GR as 'the ' place to search for family , when I did find them ( well Gen actually because chat was old format ) it was really busy and fast moving...a bit too fast for a novice so I watched for a bit :)

Over the last couple of years the advertising has rather switched form GR as the place to find things...to Ancestry, albeit more expensive we all know its benefits. I don't think any of the boards are as busy as they were...it would be interesting to know just how many join GR per month in comparison to 3 years ago...I think it is just not 'topping up' with new blood these days hence the board just doesn't get used as much ...( and we oldies are all busy and perhaps a little jaded lol.)
