I picked up a copy of this mag. this morning whilst shopping, and reading through it, there is only one pattern I am really interested in. It is a lacey crochet cover-up. |

Rita, I always used to take the Womans Weekly, as my womans magazine, many years ago. Always plenty in it, with short stories, recipes and patterns. |

Many thanks Rita. The gloves will be in double knit, as I know I am going to have a ball left from a gilet I am working on at the moment. |

Janice, many, many thanks. I just want a pattern for a pair of woman's gloves, not mittens, knitted in double knit, on four needles. It is years since I have knitted on four needles, and just fancied having a go,for the experience. |

Janice, many thanks. Finally got a look at the pictures, as I am not very computer literate, and anything different to what I am used to, usually has me foxed. Yes please, could I have the instructions for No.1 and No.4 |

Sally, get yourself a book, and try again. As you say, all the crochet things were in fashion in the 70's. I had had two girls by then, and it was fashinable to put them inlittle knitted and crochet dresses. So, when i went into the nursing home to have my third, I packed a ball of wool, a hook, and a teach yourself book. |

I have so much 1 and 2 ply machine knitting wool that I find it hard to justify buying thicker wool to hand knit!So I am doing neither at the moment! Knitting wool doesnt always crochet well. Must look out for that womans weekly book. |

Julie Ann, not many I would be interested in either, but I did fancy the crochet cover-up in a coffee coloured yarn, and the bunny. Last issue was of more interest to me. |
