I feel so sorry for all those folks trying to get elsewhere. One lady they interviewed on Sky News, y'day, she was hoping to get to her son, who has a brain tumour.............

I really feel for folk like that, but I do think that the non flying restrictions in place, right now, are correct.

Tourists from England who were due to fly back from NZ have a problem. If they leave now, with a stopover wherever, they could be stranded in wherever, which could affect their travel insurance. So their question is, do they chance it and head off in the direction of home or do they stay here until there is a definite 'all clear'. I did consider going to the airport to offer a bed for the night to 1 or 2 people, but if there is a chance that flights would be resumed quickly it might not be a good idea as I am about 45 mins drive from the airport.

just been told the choppers after my sons
was grounded again

so good job he got off when he did
so the rest of his shift are stuck there till at least monday

HE HAS JUST WALKED IN THE DOOR JANE
its a 5/6 hour drive

but its good to know he had landed

all his washing will be clean
they wash his stuff daily on the rig
it the amount he generates while home
Stray goes mad about
he is worse than a girl for his clothes

my sons helicopter has landed safely thank god
he now has a 5 hour drive home
he used to fly down in a small aircraft
but last time he did it
he was with Billy Conley and his wife Pam
and it was a bad flight
so from then on he has drove down
