Enjoy reading the threads on the boards.
Funny ones, sad ones and feisty ones.
But I so wish there was someway I could
see who I was talking too.

Yes I would love too but with RA and living
in Scotland impossible at the moment but
if I get new knees.......Emmax

Didn't explain very well what I was meaning.
Sometimes on the threads people get the
wrong end of the stick and take whats said
personally. I find it difficult to express myself
sometimes when I can't see who I'm talking
too. Wondered if anyone else felt the same.

It is a great deal easier to understand posts when you have either met or actually spoken to the poster. Sometimes irony gets mistaken for an insult..lol

UzziAndHerDogs Report 16 Jul 2010 16:56

Emma I agree I often wish I could see faces even friends can get typed messages wrong without the actions. Mind smileys etc would be a start.
Being able to put a name to a face is great, or a face to a name and yes meets are a good way of doing that.
Like you I am not likely to attend a meet unless I can get this miserable lot to come camping in Spain ...(not just yet after my fire thread tho' so shhhhhh)
But I can put faces to some thanks to FB and the like, also pics taken at meets.

Scotland isn't short of people here so who knows you may get a mini meet up.

Enjoy the boards

Well, I've never met Hayley, Stray, Aunty Sue or anyone else really but I can quite happily chuck a few insults around and sling a few cyber-slaps!

Anyway, MOST people on here are lovely. Not all, but most.
