I'm looking for my father tom Ellis whose name is on my adoption records, my birth mother who has sadly died this year told me that tom had fallen off a hop lorry and was killed, I've looked through newspaper archives and other records and I've not found anything relating to this accident, I was born in 1951 he was alive then. He and my mother were hop picking at the Hereford fields, my mother was 19 at that time I'm guessing he was about the same age. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you for replying.
