Hope everything goes well. My aunt had her first in her 50s and another at 82. Three years later she is going strong and fantastically fit for her age. She didn't have any significant pain either, so I hope the same is true for you.

OP went well, was allowed to come home on Friday & went back today to have my drain taken out.....At the moment there is no pain but i am still very numb.....OH saw my scar as my dressing was being changed & he says it looks pretty neat..........Nurse asked me if i have had a look yet & i told her i have had loads.

Good luck. I had kidney removed due Clear Cell (Renal) in 1997. Just do make sure you take things easy for a while

Yes ..... keep up the exercises, and go to a physio if you get the chance. They will teach you some massaging techniques that will help even more.
