Island

Island Report 24 May 2012 10:37

A couple were having lunch in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
and got into a heated discussion regarding pronunciation.
Finally one of them turned to the diner at the next table and said "excuse me, do you know how to pronunce the name of this place?"
"Yes" replied the diner.

"bur.........ger........king" :-D

Hi Rambling Rose

I can say it too, my Aunt used to live there. All my Mum's side of the family are Welsh speakers. Me, just a bit.
