Hi To Les and his wife Audrey,
Welcome to the boards ,I am Marie from Aust.,and no it is not a lovely sunny day we are having some welcome rain the cloud is very low and the rain very wet, and it is cold, I am unable to do any gardening so I am on the boards.

Hello Leslie. Most people on the boards are very friendly. I don't even look at my tree now. I enjoy reading the chatter. I am a cyber friend of Liz. As I live in New Zealand I haven't met her in person :-( but if I ever win lotto I hope to come over to England to meet everybody, and I could even bring Liz back with me for a holiday. As you will see from my avatar (or the 'researching' comment below here) I have been married only 54 years. Unfortunately my husband is in care with dementia. He is a year older than you. I will be surprised if we make our diamond wedding.

HI renes and Noll of Harrogate..Yes we have 4 children,,9 grandchildren and 6 gt grandchildren...All our 4 live within 3 miles of us..That's a close family.... Noll--yesw I am doing family tree...Who told you??? Only had computer about 4 yrs now but still very basic...Family Research is such fun and so addictive...Eldest daughter say's it keeps me off the streets..Don't know what she means!!! regards to all...LES. PS Wife is Audrey by the way....LLl

I can remember when an uncle and aunt celebrated their 60th and got a card from the Queen. It seemed such a milestone, which it is.

They got married in May 1946 and have just received their eighth - yes eighth - congratulatory card from her Maj. And she is only a year behind them!!!

Very many congrats, Leslie and OH. May you have many more happy years. A hosta years :-) ;-)

Thanks to everyone who has welcomed my rellie, Les and I have been in touch for a while now altho I have been a bit lax of late in communicating. due to all that's going on in my life.

That's a lot of hostas Les, do you have residential hedgehogs to keep the slugs and snails down lol
