Michael, I hope your gp will come and see your wife and do something to help her with her problem. She must be very uncomfortable and eating less won't help her stay strong . Make sure she drinks lots of liquid as that might help the constipation and at least she won't get dehydrated and confused. |

she has not seen the doctor they have known about her not being able to empty her bowels for a while it was only when she pasted blood a locum doctor sent her for the endoscopy the exstent of the problem became clear. so we are a little bit worried about whats going to happen between now and going to the clinic. |

Oh dear Michael that doesn't seem right when your wife has been given no diagnosis and no report on her endoscopy. I do hope that her symptoms will ease and she can become more comfortable soon. It is a worry for you both until her clinic appointment when hopefully everything will be explained and correct treatment given where necessary. I do hope your letter of complaint will bring you the answers you deserve. |

That's better news Michael . At least it's not a rupture that could be a major issue. |

She must be very uncomfortable but at least it isn't perforated Michael. Maybe there are a certain number of days before it is considered necessary to give something to relieve the situation? I hope they can sort it out soon and relieve her discomfort. |
