I love your tales of Fred . I think he is one lucky fella to have you. You are an inspiration to other carers and we can learn valuable lessons from your approach to some of the more bizzare problems. Just keep em coming :-)

The grotto was opened tonight.

The two carers kindly opened their presents while they were here.

Actually, the content of the parcel was as big a surprise to Fred as it was to them!

Sharron,I love the stories about Fred and his antics.it keeps me going and having a giggle.

That idea about a book with Fred's life story and antics would be brilliant and I would be the first in line to buy it.

BUT would need it signed by both of you. <3 <3 <3 <3 XXXX

They would know where to return him to wouldn't they.

He has homing instincts anyway. He always gets back here by whatever means he is using.

Oh I do love the Fred threads. And a book about his (mis)adventures would be marvellous. You might have to wait until he dies though, in case he wants all the royalties from the sale of it.

Any artists among GR members who could do some sketches to illustrate it?

Oh Sharron, please put all these threads together for a book to help all stroke victims and carers of such realise that life doesn't have to end just change somewhat and become more interesting and fulfilled.

Never ever apologise, you have kept Fred going, given his pal a chance to build his confidence and enriched our lives with your strength and humour.

Keep up the good work with whatever tools you need to help encourage Fred in his escapades.

p.s. often tyres being given away on Gumtree

I love to hear about Fred & his escapades... but I'm sad when I hear of his mishaps! How is his head?

I keep waiting for the book........ "My Life with Fred" by Sharron... it would be a best-seller!

The chapter about Fred in the Wild would be exciting :-D Can he do a Tarzan call?

Sharron

Sharron Report 30 Nov 2013 13:35

I wonder if I should start hiding his food so he behaves more as he would in the wild!

Oh dear, what a terrible thought, Fred in the wild!
