Oh Rach what a thing to happen to your Aunty. On top of everything else she is going through.Just a thought ,but if it was me I would take a photo of the bruising and swelling .Those Oxygen cylinders weigh a blooming ton :-S,plus a visual record is always a useful thing to have even though it was accidental.
I'm not surprised you and your mum are arguing .You are all under a lot of stress right now and worn out.I know the 2 of you get on and are great support for each other in tough times. But a deep Breath and a count to 10 and a few steps back can be a great help .
Lots of love from Posh Bird :-D :-D <3 <3

Your poor auntie Rach, and not good for the staff not to tell your Mum. At least they logged it and I presume they were rushed over Christmas (being generous here) and forgot to tell your Mum.

As Liz says, do try not to fall out with your Mum, you are both stressed and need each other. We can take your frustration so come on here. :-) <3

Your poor Aunt, she is suffering and to have her feet hurt by the oxygen tank, well that is beyond belief, how careless of the staff and lax of them not to report it to your Mum. I hope the consultant knows what happened.

Try not to argue with your Mum as it will only upset you both and you need to support each other. I know it's easy to say but it won't help anyone if you are at loggerheads.

Take care love, come on here and vent your frustrations and then maybe you can cope more easily with the way things are.

big hugs

So sorry to hear that your auntie has had another setback with the oxygen tank accident.
The very least they could have done was to notify you, not let your mum find out when she was tending to her needs.
You must all feel on edge with this situation and I hope that you ..and aunt... get treated with more respect and that her condition improves.

Well xmas day we were told Aunty has a blood clot on her lung along with the punemonia and a very high white blood count which concerns them somewhat as it is to high just for the pnuemonia and sadly an oxygen tank was accidently dropped on my aunties feet on Christmas day but as she was so poorly we didnt know until boxing day when my Mum went to rub some cream into her feet and saw not only are her feet bruised and swollen but the swelling has gone all the way up her legs we are furious as this has really knocked her back when will it all end? I am full of dispair and my mum and I are agruing its relentless.
hope you all had a good christmas

For Rach <3 <3

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Oh simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting tired and I need someone to rely on

I came across a fallen tree
I felt the branches of it looking at me
Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?

Oh simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on

And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything,
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know
Somewhere only we know

Oh simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need someone to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
'Cause this could be the end of everything,
