They aren't the only living things that blindly follow the flock though.

eRRolSheep very true - but they are the only thing that persuade me to buy mint sauce :-D

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 9 Jan 2014 09:33

You should try it with chickens

I don't mind being seen as one who blindly follows a flock if that's the worse thing I could be accused of doing ;-)

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 9 Jan 2014 10:31

me neither - I realise that some who have followed the flock on these boards have ended up in despair, but with the help of fellow members, they manage to triumph over that despair and learn to live again - happy, but wary of the fact that there are those who dress in sheep's clothing but are really wolves underneath - we aim to act as a warning to those who may fall into the trap

AnnCardiff - well put, I for one am very wary of which members of the flock I follow, we live and learn by the old maxim - once bitten twice shy ;-)

I remember when foot and mouth disease was hitting the farming community a few years ago. I was driving through Wales and a large mountain of sheep were on fire, it smelled just like Sunday lunch :-D :-D

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 9 Jan 2014 12:05

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 9 Jan 2014 13:02

GlasgowLass Report 9 Jan 2014 16:39

Every year since 2007, in April, a farmer in West Lothian dyes all his sheep red.
They graze on an an area called The Pyramids, adjacent to the M8 near Livingston.

It is quite surreal when driving past.
Last time I spotted them, it was late April/early May and they had faded to a bright pink!
