Hello Mersey <3 <3 <3 <3 I have noticed that when men have Man Flu they make such a fuss and need lots of TLC, however when they are REALLY ill they become strong and stoic and uncomplaining. My friends husband was so poorly with terminal cancer, I was sitting chatting to him one day when my friend had gone shopping. Clearly he was suffering, I asked him how he was feeling and he said "The gout in my big toe is so bad I could cut my toe off" I looked at him and honestly did not know whether to laugh or cry. A lovely sweet man I miss him, <3 |

Hope your friend makes a full recovery. Paula, my Dad was the same if he had a cold you would think he was at deaths door, when he was terminally ill he insisted on being taken out in his wheelchair for fresh air and to feed the ducks. Us fellas can be strange creatures |

Hi, Mersey reading your post is reflective of someone I know, a kind quite reserved man who has also suffered heart attacks, and most recently just got over cancer. |
