How do i find out what my password is on here ?, sounds odd i know but I've been on here a long time being constantly logged in i can't for the life of me remember what it is, need to change my email address, been to my account but i would have to stab a guess as to the password & if I'm wrong & get logged out then I'm gone for good, |

Sign out of GR and go to the login page. Click on the "forgotten password" link, put in the email address associated with your GR account and you will automatically be emailed a link to reset your password. |

You are not constantly logged on, despite what it may appear. |

Most any user made password made up of alphabet & numeric characters can be cracked in short order, though rarely by the holder of the account who has forgotten their password. |

Would it have been wise to at the very least clear cookies etc before giving it away? All sorts of personal information including bank details, passwords, browsing history etc etc could be there for all to see! |

You are correct Errol, i actually gave/ lent it to an old lady who lives two doors from us, she had never had a go on a laptop & was interested in having a go, i took it round turned it on & showed her the basics & left her to it, she never used it again but i left it with her, luckily with the help of rollo i have managed to retrieve my password off of that laptop. |
