I have broadband, but I can´t get flashplayer to download either.

I clicked on the link and it said I needed to upload Adobe flash player, so I clicked on the link to do that, and read a book for 45 mins while the wheel went round and round and round, and then I gave up. I will have to get the flash player uploaded next time I have my computer in town at the 'hospital' since they have broadband and I don't. :-(

Yes Huis I can't view videos on here (Ipad) but can on my desk top.

I cant view videos on there any more unless I upgrade my flash player. We used to be able to upload our own videos, made on our cameras or phone cameras. I think my granddaughter still does it. I don't bother as they take so long to upload to view.

Jax I have 77 photos on mine

It doesn't matter how long you have been on FB....My OH has been on there 6 years like me.....if there is nothing to make a video with you will just get the Thank you message instead


just checked mine and a daughters video and it seems to be a mixture of approx. 15/16 photos and status's

Only one status for me but 3 for my daughter so she has less photos showing

i only keep 9 friends on there and 3 of them are old friends who used to post here

I have enough photos for a video but I have not been on FB for 10 years

i clicked on the link above a friend's video and my video came up within a few minutes....maybe it depends how long you have been on facebook or how many photos you have uploaded? :-)

All the videos seem to run for 1 min 2 sec's

If you only have a couple of photos they are not going to be able to make a video....It will be pretty boring :-D

They included a Farmville and farmtown pic from 2009 as at that time I hadn't got any proper pics on there apart from one of my dog and car

Here's a thought...maybe the video hasn't been rolled out to all members yet?
A bit like timeline, you could opt to have it straightaway or wait (resist in my case) until it was rolled out to everyone - which was a gradual process.

Just a thought perhaps we haven't enough photos to work with :-(

That is what I had Jax from using the link on friends postings. Must admit I am really confused now as I assumed that was what you were meant to do.

Florence, phone calls are not really an option as even with hearing aid I struggle so facebook is a way I keep in touch with grandchildren.

Ann, I am probably the only person on here who doesnt do FB at all.

Although other members of my family do have it, Given the horrible conversations, extreme bad language and a whole host of other things which shouldnt be put on ,that i have seen, i will never sign up to it.

I know it has its good points for keeping in contact etc, but i would rather pick up the phone and speak to a friend or rellie.

That's just me i guess!

Hope you get sorted re the video and dont have too many problems.

Where did they post the link jax? If just the link is posted on your FB page then it will only link to your video when you click on it. This is why I've sent the link to Ann.
