	I wondered if the baby might look like Eric Pickles (most babies do). But I think he bears more than a passing resemblance to our own dear Chancellor, George Osborne. I think it is really great. There is nothing in this world quite like a little baby - and I wish Simon and his partner and little Eric a very happy life. :-D :-D :-D

	So whats so special about that?Lots of people have Sons, the thing that poor boy will have to contend with is his Father,and the fact that he will inherit £250 million,which sounds good,but could give him a Big Big problem.

	A lot of parents are calling their sons Eric after Swampy Pickles, the Minister of Floods, hero of our times. :-) :-)

	No Errol was an I pad predictive spelling that I missed, have edited it from girlfriends to girlfriend lol :-D

	Congratulations to them both. Not sure about the name 'Eric' but then again, there are many names which I wouldn't saddle a baby with.

	Well congratulations to the mammy & daddy on the birth of baby Eric ....I looked the name up and it's old Norse meaning ....one, alone, ruler, prince, powerful...so take your pick :-) I do like the feminine Erica though :-D but not so keen on the meaning weak and fragile :-(

	i quite like it, my daughter's dog is called Eric too..he is lovely. I wonder had the baby been a girl if she would have been named Erica ? :-)
