Not just Gloucester is it Dermot? actually Gloucester is not too bad, this is not the first murder here in the past couple of years admittedly but mostly the perpetrator is known to the victim (not that that is excusable). On the whole the quality of life is not bad at all here, the usual yobs who think it fair to relieve people of their hard earned possessions. the usual youngsters who have too much to drink in the clubs. But, considering we are very much a multi cultural town there is not much unrest between ethnic groups etc. |

Ann it's a tragedy that will stay with the girls parents for the rest of their days. Also my thoughts go out to the parents of the young man responsible for the girls death. What a dreadful burden they will have to carry. |

regarding hanging - I too always think of Timothy Evans in the Christie case - that is why, even with DNA, w can't justify hanging - one mistake is one too many |
