Lawn, what lawn?

I don't think I will be cutting the grass in the spring..........I will be cutting the moss that is rapidly taking over. :-(

What a blooming job that is going to be. :-|

Ditto as PH - it's 'his' job to look after that. It is going to be so unsightly once he gets round to putting the moss killer on it :-0

I reminded her-in-doors this morning to check-out the lawn mower that I bought for her for a Valentine's Day gift & make sure it is in good working order.

She needs to avoid rushing around for repairs as happened last Spring when the old one decided to die when she was about half way through cutting the grass.

Breakfast in bed is late - I don't know what the hold up is.

Squelch! Squelch!

Our lawn is still frozen solid under three feet of snow. Maybe we'll see it in April?

Lyndi

Lyndi Report 23 Feb 2014 11:52

I seem to have an abundance of worm casts on my 'lawn' :-(

PricklyHolly

PricklyHolly Report 23 Feb 2014 12:02

The only good thing is..........my sparrows are having a field day tugging out the moss.

Which means i might not have to replace my hessian wall basket liners this year which they usually use to line their nests. :-)

GiN I was when Mum and Dad told me they were going to get it.....there were so many varieties of the grass....I have to say that the people that did the work were amazing and I never thought so much effort and hard work went into it.....Its expensive yes, but really really worth it......

I thought it was going to look like greengrocer grass LOL....but nope its fab !!!
