I remember mine so sweet, so innocent, so young. He asked to walk me home after a party at his. He held my hand and walked me 8 doors up (watched by parents.) gave me a kiss (on the cheek) thanked me for coming to his birthday party and assured me he would be at mine the following week. We were 5 or 6 at the time 5 days apart in age and his Mum was my Aunts sis in law (or some strange connection) Me and S stayed friends until I left Sheffield. |

He was the Doctors son a Grammar school boy, and drop dead gorgeous. He walked past my school and asked me if I would like to go to the Milk Bar in town, and then we held hands as he walked me home. I saw him the next day walking my friend home, and then later walking with another girl. He asked me if I wanted to go to the cinema and I said no thank you, he looked so shocked. We were about thirteen at the time. Years later we met up with him and his Dad, and he told my friend I had ditched him, his Dad said serves him right. |

We were both aged 9. I'd not long moved to Devon, he was called Steven, and lived between villages. He came to the same school as me. I think he was impressed when I defended an even 'newer' pupil than me from bullies. |

Paula. It was Pawsons, the shop. I was thinking of that huge building in front of it. May have been Bingo Hall in 63. :-) Picture house we went to was down by Bridge, I think. Near Sister Dora. |

I was 15 he had a very impressive double barrelled surname, can't remember his first name. He was a least a foot shorter than me, 1'm 5'10", but a week or so before he had sent me a Valentines day card that he had signed! My mum thought he was a good catch and from a good back ground. We went to the cinema, he arrived with a box of chocolates. I wore my elder sisters dress that was too old looking for me. He was so perfectly behaved. He did ask me out again but even with my mum trying to convince me this was my way forward I never went out with him again. I was looking for a bit more excitement in my life. |
