There's no baby in this house, but I use them to clean leather & vinyl (got the hint on these boards). |

I have a leather sofa too Mersey, baby wipes are brilliant for cleaning... easier and faster than the "leather cleaner" that used to leave streaks. The vinyl chair in the study looks like new. |

Use anti-bacterial wipes for my wooden worktops in the kitchen then wipe round the woodburner before burning them. Good for cleaning marks from painted wooden kitchen and around door handles. |

On the subject of putting / not putting things down the loo, when my sister & I hired a camper van, he recommended Tesco's cheapest - which isn't too bad. I've actually used Tesco or Sainsbury's cheapest soft stuff for years (other supermarkets cheapest is also available), which is why I think I've (touch wood) had no repercussions from the candle I dropped (and flushed) down the loo before Christmas :-D |

How very interesting I never knew all that so will now confuse my friends even more than having a baby gate and nappy bags I might have to start buying baby wipes. |

Wow I didn't know all of that either, I have to use them instead of toilet paper, cleaning my face because there is so much soap products that I'm allergic too, but never flush them away, will buy a job lot next time. :-D |

Some years ago I had a major op. and i suggested to the District Nurses that maybe I could use Baby Wipes to keep myself clean around my wound (not on the wound itself). They were horrified. Was told not to use. Some can strip paint!!! |

Some once said that coffee could strip paint, tired it and apparently it does, coca cola can descale toilets, I know that builders used it in years when they went back to new houses after a year see if anything needed doing, cleaning toilets amongst other jobs that said drink would do and cheaper than proper cleaning fluid. |
