Has the BBC News Channel got it wrong again, wall to wall coverage all morning about the trial of South African athlete Oscar Pistorius. |

There are many SA TV licence paying people living in the UK who will have a great interest in the procedings as it happens. |

I actually quite like a lot of BBC programmes so it is not intended to be an anti BBC thread. |

I do get a bit annoyed, OFITG, when I switch the news on at 6am and it is all stuff I have very little interest in. Any Oscars (Pist - or - US) leave me cold. I do like local news at 6.25 and particularly like the review of the papers including the business news with that lovely Geordie girl. |

BBC R4 is tops for me & generally a Nigel Farage free zone. |

Farage reminds me a bit of a stand-up comedian who asks the audience to throw things at him and then responds in a way that will win their applause and laughter (or vote). He plays to the gallery in Small Heath and Knowle, in Chelsea and Catford, in Grangetown and Whitchurch. Varying his message (and UKIP policy) to suit each area. |
