I've just had the latest bulletin from the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle :-D :-D :-D

The consultant has been round to see GP, and said his knee was looking good and healing well. The physio has been round, and he's taken his first steps. He enjoyed it, but it made his knee ache later. Oh - and he didn't like his evening meal! :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

So, it's all looking good,and he's on the mend :-D :-D <3 <3
