Thanks everyone for your thoughts and good wishes for Katie.

Yes Hayley I remember your prediction...and you may be right....the two cousins are bonding and Princess is now walking and into everything.she even got into the drier the other day...can't take your eyes off them can you?

Both little ones are amazing....and guess what ...there are two more girls expected from other grandchildren in Aug sometime...can't keep up...and I was an only child!..and had 2 children!

That is fantastic news Brenda, I am pleased that she is doing so well.

Thank you for asking after Esme, she is almost ten months now, but she is more like a baby of half that age. She has had an operation to put a tube directly into her stomach and she is fed through that. At least she doesn't have that dreadful tube down her nose anymore.

She weighed 14 pounds before the operation, but she only weighs the same now, she seems to have had one cold after another and was being sick after every feed because of all the mucus in her stomach.

The hospital seem to have no idea about things, so my daughter has started giving her pureed food through the tube and she seems much better on that. She still won't eat or drink by mouth

Wonderful news Brenda.
It is great to see this little girl smile. She certainly is succeeding in spreading happiness wherever she goes. (or where news of her goes)!

Have only just seen this but will now go to bed with a smile on my face.

Linda, good news about Esme too. I hope that she and her family and carers soon got used to the new feeding method, and work out the best food items for her.

Thinking of both of these marvellous little girls. May every day be a little step forward in their recovery.
