I bet Fred was missed at the Cafe, they should call the Sausage Sandwich Fred's Favourite to remember him by!

Lovely individual ideas for the funeral and such Sharron, you are doing Fred proud as always.

It was sausage sandwich day today.

"Three wheels on my wagon" might be appropriate?

I'll never again eat a sausage sandwich without thinking of the lovely Fred :-D :-D

Looks like you've got quite a talent for planning personalised funerals! :-) :-) :-)

A new career could be on the horizon, Sharron.

You are really doing Fred proud, with all the thought you are putting in to the arrangements, Sharron. <3

Had a meeting with the celebrant today.

She liked my ideas and aid she had never heard of the dawn chorus being used before.

Maybe I will start a trend!

Love the music you have chosen and can't stop laughing about the obituary...lol
He would love that.

Sharron Report 29 Apr 2014 12:27

Local paper would not accept the obituary notice I put in because they said it looked like he had committed suicide.

I made it like he was being defiant and had flounced off, in his usual manner!

What a wonderful choice in music Sharron. Not too sure if this comes under 'New Age' music or not. I have a lot of N.A music, sooo soothing.
To reiterate what I said in an earlier post on this thread, I would love to go to Fred's lovely 'send-off', but it is a bit difficult from here-Holland.
Hope many GR members who are ' fans' of Fred's escapades are able to be there.

No chance of making it from Menorca, but will have bacon & sausage sandwiches on the menu that day.
Thinking of you Sharron.

Yesterday I went to the RSPB site at Amberley Wildbrooks and bought a CD of the dawn chorus.

I think that will do instead of the reflective music.

I'm sorry I can't make it as I am taking my Mum flowers for her 100th. But I will take a moment in the peace and quiet of the cemetery to remember Fred.

also too far for me.

But I will think fondly of Fred on the day, and remember some of the escapades he got up to. xxxx

Too many miles but echo LadyScozz in that I'll have a sausage sandwich at the appointed time, and say a fond farewell to a gent I never met but who's escapades were greatly entertaining.

I would have come Sharron but will be away until Sunday, which won't give me enough time to get there. I will be thinking of you.
